Hoteles Catalonia is a hotel chain that has been steadily growing since its birth. In the 1980s the consortium moved from the real estate business into the hotel industry. It has grown to become one of the main Spanish corporations in urban development, and the leading hotel group in Barcelona. Currently, it has forty-three establishments all around Spain and has started to expand with a tourist resort in the Dominican Republic, two new hotels in Riviera Maya (México) and another hotel in Brussels.
